Clean, solid-running truck with good mechanical condition and recent work completed. This is a factory turbo 7.3 IDI (Indirect Injection) diesel — not a 7.3 Power Stroke (those didn’t arrive until late 1994.5 and ran through 2003). Original odometer. 90s red interior with a typical cracked red plastic dashboard. Needs a rearview mirror. Surface rust on the frame. One spot has worn through on the driver’s front fender wheel arches and under the door in between drivers front door and rocker panel. Truck is already primed and sanded but never painted for last 6yrs sitting in Maryland before I bought it and fixed it. Runs well on the front 18-gallon tank. Originally built at the old Canadian Ford factory (VIN starts with 2FT if you ever want to trace the history).
Recent Work & Modifications
Brand-new injectors and batteries (receipts from June 2026)
Billet fuel rails and electronic fuel pump installed
Rotted front driver’s brake line repaired
Air-intrusion fuel filter replaced (previous unit had a hole in the seal)
New windshield wiper arms
Plow mount installed (plow not included)
Rear 38-gallon tank is on hand but still needs a fuel filler neck, tank straps, and mounting kit to become functional
Price & Notes
Asking $11500 or best offer. I currently have about $4,700 into the truck and cannot go below $6,500. Comparable trucks are trending higher in some markets (certain listings reach the low-to-mid $25k range in California and Arizona). Once body and paint work is finished, I plan to list it higher. A vinyl wrap would likely push it into the mid-teens given the solid mechanical condition.
This is a pre-emissions / pre-OBD2 truck, so registration is straightforward in most states. It will still need to be insured and inspected for plates wherever you register it. I’m not a dealer, but I can help with the process (including Tennessee plates if that is useful). Located in the Delaware area near zip code 19958.
Delivery Options
1) Meet & drive home: Fly into Baltimore (BWI). I’ll meet you at the terminal exit. I can top off the front tank if you call ahead. Buyer is responsible for diesel (currently averaging around $6.34/gal nationally), plus their own tickets, food, and lodging.
2) Shipped to you! Towed on a flatbed uhaul car trailer pulled by my GM 2004 GM 3500 8.1 gasser, 5speed allison DRW tow truck (averaging ~8 mpg while towing) from the 19958 area to your zip code anywhere in the lower 48. Requires a deposit (Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or similar e-payment). Towing cost is deducted from the purchase price, and half the return fuel is also figured into the total.
Bill of sale + title provided. Payment accepted in cash, crypto (with 3% conversion fee to USD), or the trades listed below.
Trades Considered:
1) Cash or bitcoin at or near asking of $11,500 USD (or best offer) but above the ~$6,500 floor
2) Electric-start (2019+) 450–500 cc 4-stroke dirt bike with snowbike kit (must be running and working well; street-legal is a bonus)
3) Unrestricted land (40+ acres) in New Hampshire, Montana, or other tax-friendly lower-48 states without major tornado risk or gun magazine restrictions (Tennessee is possible but not preferred)
4) EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra batteries inverter combo + solar array setup for a truck camper (off-grid package in the roughly $8k range), plus a backup gas generator. I’m working toward an aspiring homestead setup.
I’m a travel nurse in between contracts so this funds my next move and way to get to work. I prefer to keep my GM gasser flatbed for winter work up north so I dont have to work about diesel fuel gelling at 15degrees this winter anywhere near canadian border or near snow slopes….. which is why this diesel is available. The price will rise as more work goes into the truck.
